GETTING STARTED
Drupal downloads are in tar.gz format, which is a Linux archive format. In order to extract it, you will need some sort of archiving software. I recommend using 7zip due to the fact it's also a free open source download and a very powerful and handy archiving software, but you can use other programs if you prefer as long as they can handle this format.
